Stop Telling the Story — Let It Unfold Into Something Greater
Let’s be real.
People can infect your energy — if you let them.
And more often than not, it’s not the obvious kind of toxicity. It’s subtle. It sounds like venting, retelling, rehashing, “processing”… but what it’s really doing is keeping the wound open.
You know what I’m talking about:
That story.
That drama.
That thing that happened.
That betrayal.
That disappointment.
That “can you believe what they did?”
It might’ve been real. It might’ve hurt. But if you keep telling the story, you keep living it. Over and over again. Until the pain becomes your identity and not just something you passed through.
Retelling Keeps You Stuck
Every time you repeat the same narrative — to yourself or to someone else — you keep breathing life into it.
You keep watering the weeds.
You keep looping in the same energy that created the thing in the first place.
Eventually, the story doesn’t just describe what happened — it defines who you are.
But you’re not what happened.
You’re what you choose to do with what happened.
People Can Be Infectious — Protect Your Energy
Energy is contagious. Words are spells.
Be careful who you’re letting speak into your atmosphere.
Some people don’t want solutions — they want spectators to their suffering.
They want you to co-sign their pain so they don’t have to heal it.
They want you to sit in the dark with them and pretend the light doesn’t exist.
You don’t have to be rude. But you do have to be responsible for your own vibration.
Walk away from the story. Walk away from the echo chamber. Walk away from the people who keep the pain on repeat.
You’re not cold. You’re conscious.
You’re choosing freedom over familiarity.
And that’s a radical act of self-love.
Allow It to Be — Then Let It Transform
Instead of clinging to the story, let it be.
Let it breathe.
Let it move.
Let it unravel itself into the extraordinary outcome it was always meant to become.
What if that betrayal was the doorway to your power?
What if that heartbreak was what broke the chains?
What if the delay was divine redirection?
The only thing standing in the way of that transformation is your attachment to the old version of it.
You Are Not What Happened — You Are What You Become
Say this with me:
“I release the story. I release the retelling. I open to the highest possible outcome now. What’s unfolding is for my greatest good.”
Let that be your new mantra.
You don’t need to explain, justify, rehash, or keep looping.
You need to breathe, trust, and let the Universe finish what it started.
Because what’s coming is better than what was.
But only if you stop telling the old story long enough to let the new one begin.
