The Book of Enoch and the Corruption of Power
I saw something in the Book of Enoch that shook me. Evil, in this ancient text, isn’t framed as some list of carnal sins like religion tends to emphasize. Instead, it’s described as what happens when those with authority misuse power—when knowledge is introduced without wisdom, when divine trust is broken by domination, manipulation, and ego. Evil, according to Enoch, is born not in flesh but in fractured integrity.
The Watchers and the Fall of Order
The Book of Enoch tells the story of the Watchers—celestial beings sent to guide humanity. But instead of guarding, they interfered. They taught humans forbidden knowledge, shared secrets that weren’t theirs to give, and crossed boundaries they were entrusted to hold. The result? Chaos. Violence. Suffering. Domination.
And this isn’t some myth to be dismissed. It’s a pattern. When truth is distorted by ego, power becomes poison. When knowledge is weaponized, humanity suffers. This is about how evil actually spreads—not through individual mistakes, but through systems of control that operate without conscience.
The Abuse of Authority Is the Real Sin
This version of evil hits differently. It’s not about a misstep, it’s about manipulation. The manipulation of knowledge, the manipulation of people. Enoch shows us that evil spreads fastest through authority structures—governments, religions, institutions—when those in charge lose their way and start serving their own power instead of the truth.
When the very people or systems meant to protect and uplift become distorted, they corrupt the natural and moral order. And that corruption ripples outward, reshaping the world in its image.
Yeshua’s Message: A Return to Inner Authority
This doesn’t contradict what Yeshua taught—it actually reveals why his words were so radical. The gospel of Thomas, the gospel of Mary, the Book of Enoch—all of them point back to one core truth: Divine truth lives within. It’s not out there in the institutions. It’s not on a throne. It’s in you.
Yeshua’s message was about dismantling centralized control and returning to direct communion with the Divine. He taught inner discernment, not blind obedience. He flipped tables for a reason.
And somewhere along the way, we lost that. We got seduced by hierarchy and forgotten who we are. We’ve repeated the same pattern Enoch warned about.
Look at Today’s World—The Pattern Is Still Playing Out
When you look around—at governments, corporations, religious institutions—you’ll see it. The misuse of power. The manipulation of knowledge. The suppression of truth. That quote “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely” wasn’t a warning for the past. It’s a mirror held up to the present.
We have to wake up. We have to look deeper than dogma. We have to reconnect to what we feel is right and proper—not what we’re told to believe, but what we know in our gut is true.
The Restoration Starts With You
Restoration doesn’t come from fighting external enemies. It starts within. It begins when you unplug from systems that distort and return to your own inner guidance. The Divine lives within you. Truth lives within you. And your intuition knows when something is off.
This is your invitation to realign. Not through fear, but through clarity. Not through submission, but through remembrance.
