The Colonoscopy, the Cold Room, and the Blueberry Farm

A Message of Clearing, Trust, and Abundant Health

Yesterday, I had a colonoscopy.

Not the kind of thing most people associate with spiritual insight, yet when you live in conversation with Spirit, nothing is separate. Nothing is random. Even the moments we delay, avoid, or quietly push aside eventually return when the timing is right.

Five years ago, my doctor found precancerous polyps and told me I should be checked every three years. He reminded me more than once. And I kept putting it off. Not out of fear, really. Just life. Busyness. The feeling that I would get to it later.

Then, out of nowhere, the hospital called to schedule it.

And of course, it was not out of nowhere at all.

Something in me knew immediately. This was a yes. No hesitation. No resistance. It arrived cleanly, so I accepted it.

The Clearing Before the Clearing

The day before the procedure was prep day. A full day of emptying. Releasing. Letting go of what had been held inside.

It was also the same day the refrigerator broke.

At the time, I felt it clearly as a message about cleansing, nourishment, and releasing old patterns. What I did not yet see was how perfectly it mirrored what my body was about to do as well.

Spirit often layers its messages. One signal prepares us for the next.

The Day of the Procedure

We arrived early in the morning. The facility was freezing. They apologized and said the heater was broken.

I smiled inwardly. Of course it was.

The procedure was scheduled for 9:30 with an 8:30 arrival. Everything started on time. My wife waited while I was prepped.

9:30 came and went.
Then 10:15.

She mentioned the time. I told her calmly there must be a reason for the delay.

Around 10:45, they came in and explained the previous case had been complicated. They apologized. I told them honestly that everything happens exactly when it is supposed to.

There was no frustration in me. Just trust. Timing is not something we control. It is something we align with.

Surrender and Trust

They wheeled me back. I met the doctor for the first time. Young. Kind. Grounded. The entire team was young, present, and steady. Their energy was good.

That matters.

I laid down. They positioned me. The nurse anesthetist smiled and said she was giving me the sleep medicine and to have a good nap.

And then I was gone.

The Dream That Met Me There

When I woke up in recovery, the nurse gently asked if I had a nice dream.

I said yes.

I dreamed we owned a blueberry farm.

She laughed and said my wife would probably appreciate that and that she would tell her. She did, and my wife laughed. But the dream itself stayed with me deeply.

It was vivid.

Acres and acres of blueberry bushes. Lush. Healthy. Thriving. As far as the eye could see. I stood in one section of the land and looked out over row after row of abundance. It felt like harvest time. The bushes were heavy with fruit. Alive and full.

There was no rush in the dream. Just certainty. Peace. Knowing.

The Results That Sealed the Message

Then came the most important part.

The colonoscopy results were perfect.

No polyps.
No abnormalities.
Nothing concerning.

A completely healthy colon.

After years of being told I had precancerous polyps and needed regular monitoring, there was absolutely nothing there. Clean. Clear. Whole.

And suddenly, everything clicked.

What Spirit Was Really Saying

This was not just about physical health, though that alone is a profound gift.

This was about completion.

Clearing old patterns.
Releasing old fears.
Letting go of stories that no longer apply.

The body reflected what the inner work has been doing all along.

The colon, an organ of elimination and release, was clear. Just as I have been clearing old programming, outdated beliefs, and emotional residue that no longer belongs in this next chapter of my life.

The Blueberry Farm Revisited

When I later reflected on the dream, the symbolism felt unmistakable.

Blueberries are associated with wisdom, insight, protection, and spiritual nourishment. Historically, they symbolize renewal and safeguarding.

A farm represents cultivation over time. Patience. Stewardship. Trusting cycles rather than forcing outcomes.

Blueberry bushes require seasons. They endure winters. They take time before they bear fruit. But when they do, the harvest is generous and sustaining.

The dream felt like confirmation.

Years of inner work are bearing fruit.
Years of unseen effort are maturing.
This is a season of harvest, not urgency.

Health restored.
Energy aligned.
Abundance ready to be received.

Seeing the Whole Pattern

When I step back and look at the full arc, the message is unmistakable.

The refrigerator breaking during a day of cleansing.
The cold facility with the broken heater.
The delayed timing.
The surrender to anesthesia.
The dream of abundance.
And finally, the clear and healthy results.

One conversation. Many voices.

Spirit was not warning me. Spirit was affirming me.

Yes, take care of your body.
Yes, trust the timing.
Yes, release what no longer serves.
Yes, you are entering a fruitful phase.

Walking Forward

We are stepping into the year of the Fire Horse, a year of momentum and movement. But momentum without grounding burns out. Momentum rooted in wisdom builds something lasting.

This experience felt like a blessing and a confirmation.

Everything is unfolding rightly and properly.
For the good of all.
And the harm of none.

Spirit is always communicating.
Through the body.
Through timing.
Through dreams.

Our only work is to listen, trust, and receive what has already been prepared for us.
