“What Would You Have Me Do?” — Living from Divine Instruction, Not Ego Reaction

Every morning, before my feet even touch the floor, I ask:

“What would You have me do?
Where would You have me go?
What would You have me say, and to whom?”

This line from A Course in Miracles isn’t just a prayer—it’s a portal. It’s how I surrender the ego’s grip and allow the Infinite to lead. When I say these words, I am not asking from fear or confusion. I am aligning with perfect oneness—not as the body, but as the eternal spark of Source expressing through this form.

🕊 We Are Not the Body—We Are the Light Within It

So many of us walk around believing the body is our identity. But A Course in Miracles is clear: the body is not the truth of who we are. It is a communication device, a temporary vessel that holds the light of the Master Creator. The moment we believe our power ends at the skin, we begin living in limitation. Fear, judgment, illness, division—these are all symptoms of forgetting.

But when we remember that we are not the body, we remember that:

  • We are not our trauma

  • We are not our labels

  • We are not our roles

  • We are not the stories others have projected onto us

We are limitless awareness, already whole.

🌌 Listening to Instructions from the Higher Mind

When I say, “Where would You have me go?” I’m not asking for directions like a GPS—I’m asking to be positioned for divine alignment. I’m opening myself to spiritual assignment. It may be a quiet moment of compassion with a stranger, or it might be a bold truth I need to speak, even if my voice shakes.

Sometimes we get hung up on thinking our purpose must be massive, global, or revolutionary. But real purpose is vibrational. It’s in how we show up. How we respond. How we surrender control, choose love, and trust that divine orchestration is always at work—even in the delay, even in the mess.

🌱 Elevation Through Surrender

When we let go of control and ask to be guided, we elevate. We stop reacting from our wounds and start responding from our wholeness. The Course teaches that “the ego speaks first and loudest.” But the voice of God is still and small. It requires us to quiet down, breathe, and listen.

You don’t need to do more. You need to remember more.
You don’t need to prove anything. You just need to become available to what you already are.

🌕 You Are a Vessel of Transmission

You’re not just here to survive. You are a living prayer. Every action, every word, every choice is an opportunity to be a transmitter of love, clarity, and peace.

This simple morning invocation is not about religion—it’s about remembering your place in the cosmic flow:

  • You are a messenger.

  • You are a portal.

  • You are the mouthpiece of the Divine, when you allow it.

So tomorrow morning, try this:
Place your hand on your heart. Breathe deeply. And say:

“What would You have me do?
Where would You have me go?
What would You have me say, and to whom?”

Then watch how the Universe responds.
